Interesting group of 15 charms. Trips to far flung places are represented here (a single grain of desert sand encased in lucite, a Qur'an, a mosque, Islamic caligraphy, a camel, a fig, an abacus, a Hei tiki, a bonsai tree, a Buddha, a cross (engraved with "Jerusalem"), a medical bag (engraved R.W. Kircher M.D.) with a secret compartment. Hewing closer to home is a refashioned 1928 Indian Head 2 1/2 dollar coin and a Pan Am "wing on the world" logo charm). Wear is evident to some of these charms. XRF testing reveals one charm to be 6k, one charm to be 8k, one charm to be 12k, one charm to be 14k, one charm to be 16k, eight charms to be 18k and one charm to be 20k. Gross weight of charms and bracelet is 2.915 dwt (90.7g). From the carefully curated collection of a Pan Am flight attendant, in service between the years of 1954 and 1984. Her many travels took her through Central America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the South Pacific. Keywords: African, Middle Eastern, Asian, Australian, vintage, fashion
