Collection of 12 Russian lacquer boxes with traditional fairy tale scenes. Russian (Soviet / Federation), ca. late 20th - early 21st century (contemporary). Three boxes depict the Tale of the Firebird, one appears to show the Snow Maiden, one with Tsar Saltan with the talking squirrel, and an additional six boxes with other folk tale motifs, including one with a troika (three horse sled).
